I'm a TV/movie watcher while I stitch. My mother-in-law gave us DirecTV for Christmas, so I can usually find a movie I like or a TV show for background noise. My usual tastes lean toward fantasy/sci fi (Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, Star Wars, Star Trek...), action (Die Hard, Con Air, National Treasure, that sort of cheesy stuff), or crime dramas. Yeah, I'm a Law & Order junkie...especially if I can find an episode of the "SVU" spin-off. Mmmmm, Chris Meloni. hehehe If DH is home, he'll control the remote, but our tastes are similar. He's more likely to stop for stand-up comedy specials, though!
Speaking of DH, he got called out on a crisis call Tuesday night at 8 pm, and didn't make it back until 5 am Wednesday morning. *sigh* This doesn't happen very often, so I'm not really upset...just a little disappointed because we'd had plans to hang out together -- something we haven't been able to do a lot of lately. But one of his teenage clients had an EXTREMELY violent episode, and it was important for him to be there. Anyway, I stayed home and stitched.... And I finished my freebie! Here is a picture.

A very pretty finish. (and so was your Swishy progress)
How very nice that you were able to find a meaningful use for the fabric. And a very true sentiment, too.

That's a nice finish...and such a lovely quote too.
I am glad you were able to find a use for the scrap of fabric. I think the little pillow will be a perfect momento. Nice work!
Lovely finish! Congrats!
