Changing Seasons

School starts this week for my Small, and the summer is winding down.  As always, it feels like there is always more to do that I didn't get to, but time marches on...  And really, who's keeping score?  My craft room is messy, my kitchen needs a mopping, and there's laundry piling up, but my family is happy and healthy.  Life is good.  I hope Small - and the grown-ups, too! - will remember that as the years go by.

The little "Strawberry Urn" design from Needle Work Press is finished.  The fabric was something labeled only "30-ct." in my stash, and I used WDW Brick for the berries, GAST Forest Glade for the stems, DMC 3371 for the pot and birds, and Anchor 386 for the flowers.  Not sure what to do with it, so into the "unfinished finish" bin with it for now.

That's a nice finish, maybe a flatfold ornie?

My laundry is done but don't look at my floors.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
