A day no sewing would be done

...because some mighty impressive thunderstorms rolled through. What does that have to do with sewing, you may ask? Well, it is hard to sew when this is huddled and shaking under your sewing table...LOL

So instead I stitched a bit on yet another new project. There is a purpose behind this one -- although I can't share here just yet!

Hmm, the thunderstorms seem to have stopped for a bit, so I could get back to sewing (maybe you can tell from the picture above, I was in the middle of ornamentifying the Christmas sprites!). Or maybe I'll put Valse de Fleurs back on my mini-scrolls. Decisions, decisions!

Awww, poor baby! I know the feeling...it's storming here right now and our dog is a nervous wreck. She keeps trying to climb in my lap to hide ~ all 60 pounds of her!

Wishing you better weather tomorrow!

Poor puppy! Our boy doesn't mind the thunder but any rain beyond a very light drizzle is a different story- he (112 pounds of American bulldog) flat out refuses to go outside til it stops. Hope your buddy is better now!

Oh poor baby! He looks terrified - my little boy just growls now and again when the thunder starts :)

Some dogs just seem so frightened by storms don't they. My SIL's Golden Retriever tried to become a lapdog every time there was a storm.
Oh good for you for ornamentifying. Mine are still all in a pile.

Is your dog a Staffy? We have a 10 year old black and white staffy and he does exactly the same thing, his whole body trembles when the thunder claps. Poor babies!!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
