My husband works with a truly wonderful bunch of people. And when he moved into his office last fall, his rather Spartan working quarters were critiqued by the "tenant's association" - aka, the other 2 oddballs who work in his hallway - and deemed to be inadequate. They told him he must decorate...within the bounds of good taste, so garden gnomes and pink flamingoes were out. And what does my husband do? Well, of course, he immediately printed pictures of garden gnomes and stuck them all over his door. hehe Evidently this has escalated as the months have passed, and now the offices have their own "roaming gnome" who mysteriously appears in various parts of the building.
So over the past week, I stitched this for DH...
(Over-1 on 28-ct., to make it small enough for a door hanger!! Yeesh. But the little guy is so cute. He is from an old Paragon/Designs by Gloria & Pat booklet.)
...and these for his coworkers.
These tiny little gnomes were from Tereena Clark's big set of fantasy smalls. Not as detailed as DH's gnome, but that is OK! And their little flags have a gnome clipart and the acronym G.E.R.M. on them - Gnome Exploration & Relocation Movement. I'm quite tickled with the whole thing......I almost wish I worked there, too!!! LOL
