I'm a couple days late with my TUSAL update, but here it is...Pretty!!! A few more silks, from both "Happiness Is" and Valse de Fleurs, plus some DMC from the gnomes I'm working on for DH. (More on that little project coming soon.)
As you may have noticed, my ort jar has decided to wander around the house a bit. No more shall she be confined to the stitching table! Today she wanted to pose with DH's turtles (perhaps they are t"ort"ises?!?!). This odd little figurine belonged to DH's grandmother - she had a real "thing" for turtles. Which is kind of funny, because I do, too.....but I don't think I'd ever purchase something like this for myself!
Hmmm, I can hardly wait to see where she ends up next month! And would anyone like to suggest a good name for my little ort jar? I hate referring to her as just "the ort jar"... Maybe she and I could put together a little prize of some sort for the winner!! So if you have a cute, clever, or otherwise interesting name in mind, post it here by July 3!

She's an ort jar. She has to be Flossie.
Ortensia or Ortense :D
Like dropping the 'h's off of the names.
So THATS where the Great A'tuin's babies went off to.
how about Morticia - given that this is where the 'dead' threads end up :)
LOL, love the t'ort'ises. How about Ortendsa (ort ends, with an a on the end just to make it girlie). :)
