And I'm sorry about that....but I *will* have pictures to show tomorrow, of something!!
But today I started my second job. Now, in addition to being a full-time librarian Monday thru Friday, I'll be working occasional weekends at another local college library. I'm trying to be thankful that in this economy, I have not just one job but TWO...however, working noon-9pm on a Saturday simply isn't appealing. And really, what college student does library research on a Saturday?!?! LOL So I'm bored. I've web-surfed, sent a zillion emails, and read an entire book (Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, it was interesting although not quite what I was expecting). I have some stitching stashed under the desk here, but I was told "no knitting, crocheting, or other craft projects." Hmmm. I'm guessing by 7 or 8 o'clock, though, this place will be empty, and no one will notice what I'm doing....
Oh, but guess what I'll be doing with some of my newly-acquired millions (haha)? I took the plunge and made a reservation for the Celebration of Needlework in May!!! I'm so excited. I'm planning on driving to New Hampshire - about 6 hours - on Friday, and then I'm taking Cynthia Zittel's "Waltz of the Flowers" class Saturday and the finishing class on Sunday. I was tempted to do more, but some of those classes are downright intimidating! Plus, time and the cost involved would make it difficult for me to spend more time there.

I imagined working in a library was always interesting but I see that it also can get boring at times. Maybe you can sneak out your stitching anyway, maybe ...
