busybusybusy

Hmmm, it seems that my blog posting has gotten rather sporadic of late....I'm sorry. I'm still waiting to hear about a new job, and that has been rather distracting! I know that my references have been called, so I should be hearing something soon. Then it might be time to pack and move...ugh. Combine that with trying to finnagle vacation time & new job overlap, making sure I don't have a lapse in health insurance coverage, hoping that DH can find a job as well.....I can feel the hairs turning gray as I type all this. LOL

So anyway, what is this blog about? Oh yeah, stitching. Well then. I haven't done much! I have Annemarie's RR packaged up and ready to mail -- I'm only working a half-day Thursday, so I'm going to try to run to the post office then. I've stitched up a few little gifties for my renaissance faire friends, since I may not get to see them much this summer (or ever again, given the rather transient nature of their jobs). I did Sue Hillis' "Big Girl Panties" freebie for my friend Christine, and I need to figure out a way to finish it quickly. I'm thinking a box top? Time for a run to the craft store! Other than that, my needles have been sadly stationary of late. And don't even MENTION packing all the craft supplies yet -- ack.

And now to try and get myself feeling at least a little stitchy, an SBQ.
SBQ, 6/18/2008: Do you currently subscribe to any stitching publications or have you in the past? (Either in print or online) If so, which ones?
The only stitching publication I've subscribed to is The Gift of Stitching, the online magazine that started a few years back and seems to have caught on like wildfire... I know many of my blogger/chatboard friends have subscriptions. I really like the assortment of patterns, and you just can't beat the digital delivery & storage! I'm sometimes tempted by Just Cross Stitch, especially now that the ornament issue is included in the subscription price, but I've managed to resist so far....

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
