2) Moonflower Designs' "May You Believe"
3) Designs by Lisa's "Live Simply" 4) SamSarah Design Studio's "I Will Always be a Wildflower"
5) Bent Creek's "Halloween Snapper" (honestly, I think the whole snap thing is a little odd, but I just love the little trick-or-treaters in their costumes...)
6) Lavender Wings' "Lilacs"
The Lavender Wings pattern has become a part of my latest quest. I'm now hunting for the perfect dusky purple fabric to stitch this on. The model used 32-ct. lambswool, which just looks too coarse for the way I see lilacs in my mind's eye. We had 2 giant lilac bushes in the back yard when I was growing up, and for some reason the thought - and smell! - of lilacs just gives me a soft, blurry impression. Maybe I looked out the window without my glasses too often, I don't know... LOL
In other news, my husband has been pretty much blanketing the country with resumes. And just ONE HOUR after submitting one tonight, he got an email back asking if he was available for a phone interview TOMORROW! Holy Speedy Hiring Process, Batman!! I guess I'm just used to the world of academia, when everything has to be approved by 10 different committees and offices before any decision can be made. The only problem with this position that I can see right now...is that it is in Missouri. Not that there is anything wrong with Missouri, it is just never a place I envisioned myself living....
