stitched on 28-ct. English Rose Jazlyn
I know there is one shade of pink that gets a bit "lost" in the fabric color, but I was willing to sacrifice it for the pop of the white border. The model was stitched on white, and in the picture you can barely see the neat butterfly border at all.
Oh, and I also got a bit of stash in the mail today....an older pattern called "Wildflower Afternoons" by Dagmara Designs. It is a pretty simple little design, with a quote that reads "wishing you butterfly mornings and wildflower afternoons." I just really liked the sentiment! And I finally found it on eBay. Who knows when I'll get around to stitching it, though...

What a lovely piece of Just Nan and I love the pink fabric! I love that sentiment too "butterfly mornings"
Great progress, I like the pink fabric, it makes the pattern even prettier.
Very pretty. I have this one in my stash. Seeing your progress makes me feel tempted to pull mine out and start work on it. Love the fabric choice!
Your fantasy exchange piece turned out great. I'm sure your exchange partner love it.
I read your blog from late May 2008about an old pattern, "Wildflower Afternoons". I have been searching for this pattern for months. Can you tell me a bit more about where you found it? Thank you so much. This is the first lead I have had.

I am looking for this cross stitch pattern as well - I'd like to know if available and how did you find it, etc. Thanks so much.
