Chick-a-dee-dee-DONE!

Remember this little guy??Pam Kellogg's 2006 Mystery - part 4

stitched w/DMC on a 28-ct. Silkweaver solo

I finished him up tonight while DH played City of Heroes. Yay!!! With summer just around the corner, I was really getting tired of seeing something so wintry... And now my scroll frame is "available" for something new! I'm thinking of starting the "Lilacs" sampler by Lavender Wings that I did the floss toss for a few posts below.

So far this weekend I've also worked a bit on a little Just Nan pattern (Butterfly Lace) and started Annemarie's Neighborhood. Her "stitch whatever you want in a rather undefined space" layout really gave me some problems for a while, but I think I came up with something that suits both me and the developing design.

Tomorrow (well, technically today!) we're off to see the new Indiana Jones movie, and then just relax. We thought about going to my parents' place for a day or 2, but gas prices here killed that pretty quickly. We're only going to the movies because DH has to drive to his office - about 40 miles away - to drop off some paperwork, and there is a theater nearby. His daily commute is a big part of the reason that the rest of our summer travel will be rather curtailed....

I love it! Chickadees are my favorites.

DH and I have been playing City of Heroes too. We need to check out the new content.

A beautiful finish. The fabric really works with that design!

Yeah, we're staying close to home this summer too. Our daily commute is 60 miles (round trip), but thankfully, DH and I work at the same place, so we 'carpool'. :o)

BTW, I meant to email you earlier, I received the 'Wine a Bit' chart! Thanks so much! I can't wait to get it started!! :o)

The Chickadees are cute and I love the rabbit cube.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
