Stitchers are wonderful people!

Thanks, everyone, for your warm thoughts. I've always been a "Web-baby" - heck, I met my husband via blogging - but it was so nice to be reminded that there are, in fact, REAL people behind all those keyboards and web postings.

DH and I are doing fine, all things considered. Take each day as it comes, right? That has always been our view of things, really.

I must confess to engaging in a bit of "retail therapy," though...I ordered a few things from ABC Stitch's clearance pages, and I'm considering an order over at Stitching Bits and Bobs, too. can't beat Bobbie's "25% off everything" sales! I know I might have to wait a bit to GET the order, but that is fine. The arrival of happy mail is always welcome, whenever it gets here.

I've been stitching right along on a few projects - here is the latest progress on my "Worst Enemy" dragon. I had the urge to count down and start the lettering over the weekend.
This just makes me grin. When it is finished, I think I'll have it framed and put it on my desk at work.

I've also finished the sheep on the Wee Shepherd piece that will be a birth announcement for my friend's son, but I don't have a picture yet.

A bit of stash therapy is definitely called for, Erin, and getting it on sale makes it all the more therapeutic! :)

Dear Erin I have not visited your blog for a while and am very sorry to hear of your loss. I don't think I can find the words to help you but know you and your DH are in my prayers. Take care of yourself and I am happy that you find comfort in your stitching.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
