(What a great news headline that would be, eh? hehehe)
I found this little guy stuffed in a bag last month, and put in a few stitches on him over the past couple nights. I got him on eBay, but I think he originally came with one of the British magazines as a free kit.
I took his pic with the model, just so you can see the bizarre color differences. I'm not sure WHY the colors are so different - the chart lists DMC colors, and when I checked the included floss against my DMC color cards everything was correct. So either they decided to use Anchor flosses (and there isn't an Anchor conversion listed, so that seems unlikely), or their photography/lighting was REEEEEALLY messed up. Oh well, I think I like the way he is turning out better than the kit picture anyway! Bear was originally a travel project for me, so I have no idea what will happen to him when he is finally finished (my travel projects are often dictated by their size and portability and not necessarily by my love of the design). They weren't very generous with the kit fabric, either, so I'm thinking pillow.....

He is lovely anyway! It really drives me mad that. I esp hate it when you buy fabric and it looks nothing like the one on the chart! I guess this i sexcusable when its hand dyed though.
