Baby whaaaaaaaa?

I finished this today....and now have no CLUE what to do with it. ::shrug:: Sure, I get bouts of "baby fever" from time to time, but stitching this up was COMPLETELY out of character for me......

It is from a book by the Kooler Design Studio, called "80+ Cross-Stitch Kind Thoughts." I originally thought it would fit on one of the 3-inch Styrofoam cubes I picked up on sale at Jo-Anns, but my ability to do math in my head was apparently on vacation when I started this. it is 49 stitches square, and on 28-ct. (over 2), a 42-stitch design would be exactly 3 inches square. Duh. Oh well. The backing fabric for this little door hanger is yellow with pastel polka dots, and I attached little silver star beads to the green ribbon. It was fun to make, at least! Hmmm, maybe I could sell it on eBay????

That's very cute! Maybe you could save it for a while in case any friends/colleagues have a child and you need a baby shower gift?

Well, it's adorable whatever you decide to do with it. I'm sure you could sell it online but probably not for what it's worth. If it were mine I would store it in the stash museum until someone had a baby. Of course, then I would probably forget I had it and make another one, then my children would find the original after I die and say, "Wonder who Mom made this for?"

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
