Apron finish

Here is the apron design for my little sis. It isn't exactly what she picked out - I found this AFTER she'd gone through my patterns - but all she requested was "veggies". Soooo.....this fits the bill, right?? It is on the bib of the apron - that band at the top of the pic is the top of the apron. I'm still not totally thrilled with it. If you click on it and look at the bigger version (didn't want to clog the blog with giant .jpgs!) you can see some of the uneven stitches...I'll just blame the evil waste canvas. At least being the only crafty one in the family can have SOME advantages, since I'm probably the only one who will notice the imperfections!

I haven't done much stitching the past few days. Last night I had to lifeguard, and tonight I was cleaning and cooking for my mom's visit this weekend. Hopefully she'll sneak out of work early so she can get here in time to go to the stitching/framing shop with me - she has an unframed stitched gift I gave her for her birthday, and she wants it framed. And I have NO ulterior motives, getting her in the store with me...hehehe On Saturday we are going to a day-long scrapbooking event together. I hope I can get "in the mood" to scrap....I just haven't felt it lately. Oh well, it will still be fun to spend time with my mom.

Bedtime.....if I'm not around tomorrow/this weekend, I'll see you all on Monday!!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
