Feeling Accomplished

It has been a busy couple of days!   Apparently the stars aligned perfectly for me to not only get the housework done this weekend, but also finish/make progress on a few projects.

First, I sewed this little Blackbird Designs pattern (stitching finished long ago) into a small pillow.

Then I finished the little teacup that I mentioned earlier.  I need to finish this into a little pillow soon, since the auction my mom wants it for will be held at the end of April.
I am not sure about the true "evenweave"-ness of this pabric...it is the inexpensive white evenweave the craft stores sell. And I question it because according to the pattern, this should be square!  Looking a bit rectangular to me....

And finally, I did another wee small thing - this is SamSarah's "Twinkle!" from their "Pearls" series of little-bitty designs.  It stitches up really quickly, in part because the snowman is not stitched in, and I made it even smaller by stitching it over-one (again, on that cheap white fabric) so it will fit in one of those little pocket watches.  Oh, and if anyone has any pointers on putting stitching in those, could you share?  I've seen several people post finishes, but no tutorials!
I also swapped out all the flosses for ones I had on hand, and used a different bead for the star on top - since I stitched it over-one, the one called for was giant.

Wow, you have been busy. I either end up with a clean house and no crafting or lots of crafting and a pigsty!

I don't trust cheap fabric at all after starting a biscornu and noticed it was a rectangle.

Lovely stitching.
That doesn't look like a square at all! It's still pretty though.

The teacup does look a little off. But it is so pretty. I do love the teacup, and think it will be a perfect for the basket. That snowman is tiny.

There is such a difference in fabrics. I checked a few of the blogs I read to see if I could find any clues for finishing the pocket watch. No luck. But if I do, I will be sure to share.

I love the unevenweave evenweave! It looks fine though, no-one would know unless they'd seen the pattern.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
