I'm blaming Lee for this one. You see, over a year ago she shared this lovely finish/conversion, and I've thought about it off and on ever since. And what did I see on the clearance sale pages at abcstitch.com yesterday? You guessed it - Hands to Work's "Spring Violets." And since it seemed silly to pay shipping for just ONE chart....I picked up 2 other charts by Ship's Manor that I've been eyeing for sometime ("Firefly Dance" and "My Autumn Heart"). I'm envisioning "Firefly Dance" as a cute pillow for my daughter's room, and "My Autumn Heart" just seduced me with the yummy fall colors and knotwork feel.
Sigh. Now I'm at work (Job #2), and cruising Vicki Clayton's site looking for substitutes for the Au Ver A Soie called for in Just Nan's "Mermaid Heart"....
