A finish to share

Here is Victoria Sampler's "Iowa" heart from the Hearts of America series.
I really had fun with this! (And it IS on white fabric, I just photographed it up close on my stitching table, which has a light-colored wood finish.) The featured stitch was the triple cross, which I didn't find that hard, but I was pretty pleased with my lazy daisies as well! I'm not sure what to do with this now. I'm thinking of stitching the Pennsylvania heart and then finishing them back-to-back as a single ornament, since DH was in Iowa and I was in PA when we "met" online.

I've also finished the stitching on my Halloween exchange piece, and am trying to come up with the perfect finishing idea. I have something in the works, but I'm not sure I like it/it will work well/I have the time and determination to do it (take your pick! LOL). Hmmm.

I think your idea of combining the two states is a great one! It also gives me an idea for a gift for my daughter who recently moved from her home state of Illinois to Missouri - hmmm...

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
