Another weekend gone

Is the year really almost half-over already?!?!? Where does the time go....

Saturday my sister and her fiance (!!) stopped by for pizza and game night. We had a lovely time, even if they did think it was a bit silly when I asked about potential wedding sampler ideas. Hey, a stitcher has to have her priorities, right? And I'm really at a loss for this one. My sister and The Boy are self-admitted "crunchy hippies," and a traditional-style wedding sampler would not suit them very well. So I'm on the hunt! Right now I have Sisters and Best Friends' "All My Love" pattern, but even that is all flowers and hearts....hmmm. They told me they like earth tones, and the wedding is (tentatively) going to be January. So my current thought is to use a Sweetheart Tree Teenie Tweenie - Snowflakes in the Pines - and add their names, date, and perhaps a verse and some bands of specialty stitches. (Similar to what I did for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law a few years ago.) For some reason I'm envisioning this with the Sweetheart Tree design on both ends, their info in the middle. We'll see. And in the meantime, I'm open to any suggestions!

I didn't do a whole lot of stitching this weekend, but I did work on "Labyrinth" a bit, to keep up with my monthly goals. Here is a quick pic:
And now I must go throw some laundry in the washer - clean underwear is a good thing - and then maybe work on those darned fox cubs for my friend's new baby. Happy Stitching!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
