My parents decided not to visit after all, so I had more time than expected for stitching this weekend!! (However, I did have some errands to run, laundry to do, and some friends to visit....so the stitching time wasn't as generous as you might think...)
I started with the Lilacs.I was having fun with all the beads (really, I like beading, especially when the beads aren't all crammed together tightly), and then decided I needed to tackle the French-knot lilac bunches in the center. There are 6 total, 4 purple and 2 pink ones -- you can see my progress on one of the purple ones. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it looks so far! But it may take me longer than I'd planned....darned knots.
Then I pulled out "Labyrinth" for a while on Saturday and Sunday.
My camera caught a weird shadow, and the fabric isn't quite the right color, but at least you can see my progress.

Great progress on both Erin!
Oh well, French knots, but the more you stitch the better they turn out. Yours look great. Great progress pictures.
Both pieces are looking fantastic! Sorry you did not get to see your parents but at least you got to stitch!
