Houston, we have problems.

Hmph. I've evidently been a careless stitcher. Monday night I broke my lap frame. *sigh* I have one of K's Creations' "Z" clamp frames, and I think I've treated it rather badly over the past year or 2. (I put my scroll frame with MOTDB on it in the clamp, and it is technically too long/heavy.) So.....the screw that holds the clamp to the rest of the frame broke through the wood - where the green circle is:

And now my lap frame is useless. *sigh* Last night I went back to my cheapie frame that just slips over the ends of the scroll rods, but it isn't nearly as secure and easy to use as the Z frame. Maybe this would be a good time to petition DH or my folks for a floor stand?!?!? Any suggestions???

Also, I seem to have messed up my back somehow. I'm a terrible patient, and decided to ignore the pain and go running on Monday night - NOT smart. Just sitting hurts right now, so the stitching is a bit limited.

I hate when that happens! Sorry to hear about your stand. I'm checking these out now:

I'm liking the floor model which holds q snaps! But, it gets pricey!
So sorry to hear about your back! Hope it eases up very soon:)

Oh no! Sorry about your back. Back pain is the absolute WORST! Take it easy. Rest for about a day or so, then go back to gentle activity. Hope you're feeling better soon! Sorry about your stand, too. :(

Sounds like exactly what happened to my Gazelle. We were not amused. Come to think of it, I don't think they've responded to my request for help yet.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
