Fantasy Exchange - part 1

I haven't yet received my exchange piece, but the recipient of my project posted that hers arrived, so I figure I can share here now.... I stitched a design called "Days of Yore" by Fanta Cat Designs from the Celebration of Stitching book. It is 60 x 60 stitches, but done over-one on 28-ct. it comes out quite small! That moat dragon was quite the chore... The whole design is about 2 inches square. I finished it as a padded basket top, with some green cording for trim.

Here is a pic my partner posted of the whole exchange - I included some Coca-Cola fabric (from her wish list, for finishing!), some hand-dyed green wool fiber I had because she said green was her favorite color, and an itty-bitty tin of sugar free cinnamon mints. I don't know if the mints are tasty, but the little tin was just too cute for me to pass up! LOL

I think it was well-received, so from the sending end, my first exchange seems to have gone quite well....

Great job! That's a wonderful basket... even if the moat monster gave you problems. :)

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
