I spent the weekend stitching on the chickadee wreath. After doing more of the endless confetti, I finally got to a point where I could add some of the backstitching (on the right-hand side...some brown curly twigs and the outlining on the berries). I actually enjoy backstitching like that, where it is more than just an outline.
Oh, and Missy Ann asked what fabric I was using for this...it is another Silkweaver solo. In fact, it is the other half of the piece that I used for the Old Books sampler! I thought it provided a nice background, and looked suitably "woodsy."
