My First Round Robin Accomplishment!

Today I put the finishing touches on my first-ever round robin project. Carol, I can't thank you enough for inviting me to join this! I've always been a bit intimidated by the idea of stitching on "other people's" projects, but this is really a lot of fun. So here it is, my winter-themed block for Lauren's Neighborhood. If you'd like to see the whole neighborhood so far - and lots of other beautiful "neighborhoods"! - check out the "Hello Neighbor!" blog. There is a link in my "Blogs I Read" list.

I finished something else this weekend, too -- Just Nan's "Wintry Mix." I don't have a picture right now, because I decided to do some finishing this evening and make it into a padded box top (I saw some of Becky's lovely projects and got inspired!). Right now it is sitting on my work table, waiting for some glue and polyurethane to dry. It didn't turn out too badly for a first try...although I did make a mistake in my choice of boxes. I decided to use a shaker box with rounded corners....and getting the fabric shaped to the corners correctly was a bear. I'll have pictures tomorrow!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
