SBQ, 7/3/07 - One more stitch....

Do you consider yourself a "floss miser?"

It all depends - first of all, how does one define a "floss miser"? If it means someone who saves the teeniest of thread tails just in case they need to do one more stitch...no, that's not me. If it means someone who stitches to the bitter end of a length of floss...well.....sometimes. If it is non-DMC kit floss, then yes. And if I've got one or 2 more stitches left in the color I'm working with, yes then too. But for the most part, I don't LIKE stitching down to the fuzzy end of the floss.

Weekend plans: Medieval faire!!! Huzzah!
In all seriousness, though, I DO need to do some stitching -- primarily on my Neighborhood RR. If I can get that ready for mailing, then I can go back to the Celtic blessing for a bit before the next RR piece arrives in my mailbox. And then there's that Vermillion freebie that I'm envisioning as a pouch for the garb I'm having made....hmmm. Oh, and I had a first fitting of the wedding guest garb....it was so yummy! I can hardly wait to have it finished. I've ordered my shoes, I'm working on a chain girdle/belt, and I just have to figure out what to do with the hair. We'll see what I can find at the faire this weekend!

Ooo, the faire sounds like fun. I'm not a floss miser at all. I'll toss any bit that has the slightest fuzz.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
