Where is SPRING?!?!?!?

Well, tomorrow is my birthday, and it is SNOWING here in northwestern PA. Ugh. Cold, gray, and gloomy....sure doesn't make me feel like celebrating!! Maybe I should take the day off from work and just sleep all day. hehehe

Time has really gotten away from me lately, and I don't feel like I've accomplished much. I spent a bit of time this past weekend scrapbooking -- I needed a break from the knotwork and backstitching! Here is a progress pic, though, just to prove that I HAVE been working on the wedding gift.

And here is a funny husband-story for you....on Friday DH informed me that he had an honor society induction ceremony (Chi Sigma Iota, for those of you who are curious and/or in the know) on Saturday evening, and that he'd like me to attend with him. I asked him what I should wear, and his answer was the standard male "something nice." Ack! So I was getting dressed Saturday, and decided on black pants and a purple yoke-neck sweater. I walked out of the bathroom, and there stands DH in a suit and tie!! Thank goodness I had a run-free pair of pantyhose nearby, and a tank dress with matching jacket....and I amazed DH with my quick-change skills. When we got to the dinner, I was SOOO glad that I had changed. Almost everyone was dressed in similar professional attire -- my pants outfit WAS nice, but in more of a "nice night out on the town" kind of way. Men......
