Dog-gone it, done already!!

DH had to work this morning, so I had the house to myself for a couple hours....and I finished up the Christmas Puppy ornament! I'm always amazed at how quickly these little Brittercup designs stitch up - even being over-one, this only took a few nights.

I might add a ribbon to hang it, so it will match the Christmas Kitty ornie I did back in January for the cat...but it looks so cute here with Santa....

Oh, and I swapped out all the colors. I used:
-Six-Strand Sweets "Green Tea Ice Cream" in place of GAST Evergreen
-Six Strand Sweets "Dreamy Caramel Cream" in place of GAST Buttercrunch
-WDW "Mascara" in place of GAST Soot
-WDW "Turkish Red" in place of GAST Pomegranate
Over all, it worked pretty well...although the Caramel Cream got a little too light on the right side of the stocking cuff. Oh well. That's the joy (and the challenge!) of hand-dyed fibers and fabrics -- you always get a one-of-a-kind piece!

Congratulations Erin!! Your ornamanet is adorable! And your color changes worked out perfectly.

I picked up a styrofoam cube at Joann's recently... immediately thought of you! Gonna give it a go soon, I imagine... I know who to contact if I get stuck - LOL!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
