An Over-One Accomplishment

Saturday I finished my fifth project as part of the Multi-Project Challenge, and it was also the most significant over-one work I've done in a long time. I posting it with the pattern picture, so you can see how very different the colors actually are from the picture!

"Share Love" by Twisted Threads
stitched over-one on 32-ct. Lavender Mist Belfast linen, with Kreinik Milkpaint silk threads
Finished size: approx. 2 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" high

The colors are more accurate in my scan....that border is definitely purple. I like the "real" colors better, actually! I picked this kit up on one of our anniversary adventures, and didn't realize that it had to be done over-one, so it languished in a bin for a loooong time. It is done now, but I won't be searching out anymore over-one projects for a while...my poor eyes!!!

I like yours better too - congrats on getting so much over-one stitching done, it's definitely the "thing that makes me go hmmmm" ;)

Very nice! Over-one on 32 ct? I think I'd go cross-eyed! Love your color choices, too.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
