Best. eBay. Find. EVER!!!

Yesterday I got "happy mail" (what DH calls it) - the 1998 JCS ornie issue that I found and won for $4.50. The seller had it listed as part of a lot, and never mentioned the title of the magazine. If I hadn't looked at the pictures, I never would have found it! And those old ornament issues typically sell for ridiculously high prices ($25 or more, in some cases). Yes, the Stash Gods were looking out for me that day....hehehe Oh, and since it is a magazine, I'm not violating my exceptions for the Multi-Project Challenge.

Anyway, the magazine was practically pristine, except for a few dog-eared pages. AND I got another treat - there was another magazine in the lot (eh) and a Leisure Arts book called "Love, Life, Laughter." I thought it was just a small pamphlet, but when it arrived I found that it was one of their softcover books that sells for $20! And it has some great romantic/wedding-y designs that aren't religious - perfect for most of my friends and family.

So I figure between the ornie issue and the Leisure Arts book, I think I saved about $45....woo-hoo!!!!!

Erin, you lucky thing. I have been wanting that issue for a long time. That was great a great deal! My favorite ornament in that book is the earth one that says joy to the world I believe.

I have a 2001 or 2002 one I have never used. I may get rid of it.
