When you get a project professionally framed do you get glass inserted into the frame? Why or why not?

Yes, I do use glass in my framed pieces. I guess I'm just a bit paranoid about dirt/dust/etc. getting on my work! I did have one piece framed without glass, because it had a clay charm on it that was rather large and would have just about needed a shadow box in order to have glass on it. That piece now lives with my mom, and she has it hung in a hallway. I told her NOT to put it in the kitchen! And I still worry about what it might look like years down the road....silly, I know.

I know I *said* I was going to stitch last night.....I lied. I meant to, but DH chose last night to have a deep "relationship talk." I think this is a hazard of being married to someone who studies psychology!! (no offense, Carol) But every so often he gets all introspective and analytical, and starts asking questions like "are you happy? why are you happy? could our marriage be better?" and simple answers never satisfy him. I get frustrated with this sometimes....especially when he drops it on me out of the blue. (Last night I asked him if he could take out the trash while I went for a jog, and he told me that he felt I was trying to "escape" chores by asking him to do it as I was leaving. I told him no, I just like seeing our trash out there on the curb with everyone else's when I come home from the gym. After 3 1/2 years, he KNOWS this. But whatever. I think we worked it out.)

:) I had the same "deep relationship talk" last night with my DH! Only I started it out of paranoia! :)

No offense taken - LOL! To be honest, I don't do that to Mike, my family or my friends.... I keep it at the office. I know I can't be my own therapist or my own relationship therapist - it simply cannot be done.... tell DH that :-)
