Attack of the Pillows!!

After I finished the Popcorn Bear pillow on Saturday, I had a "finishing fire" under my fanny....so I dug out 2 of the "Dragon Virtues" squares that I finished a couple years ago. I'd purchased some fabric to pillow-ify them, and I'd been waiting for Mom to do it for me. Well, now Mom is off the hook!! hehehe

The fabric is a green corduroy. "Strength" is about 7 inches square, and "Wisdom" is 8 inches high by 6 inches wide. (I meant to make them both the same size, but I ran short on fabric while cutting the strips.) I think Strength is my favorite...I really like the way the oranges "pop" against all the green.

And just so no one can say that I don't post enough pictures....here is Lanarte's "Classic Woman." I still can't find the name of the fabric - I *think* it is a printed fabric called "Chantilly" by Zweigart, but I can't find anything like that listed in their product line. It isn't quite as pink as it looks in the pic, but you get the idea. I think it is pretty close to the original kit fabric.

Your pillows turned out great! It's funny how once you get started sewing it just takes off. :) Great job!

Your Classic Woman project looks fantastic! The fabric is very pretty.

Wow... I turn my back for a minute (okay, a couple of weeks! LOL) and you go and make friends with your sewing machine. :) Congratulations on your pillows-- they look wonderful.

Oooh... and your basement looks terrific, too. Nice improvements!

Beautiful work too!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
