And a subversive finish

over-2 with DMC colors as charted on 28-ct. mystery green linen from my stash
approx. 6 1/4" square


This was a fun little stitch.  (Of course, then someone pointed out that it is essentially "YOLO" - if it had been coined in the 1940s by an uppity French fashion designer and Nazi sympathizer. Ha!)  I don't have much fabric to play with on the sides for finishing, so I may try to find a pre-cut wood plaque at one of the craft stores that I can play with.
