You know, I'm sorry I don't post more pictures in a more timely fashion. I have a home, a family with a small child, I work 2 jobs, and some days I barely have time to stitch, let alone take pictures of said stitching and write blog posts about it. So when I participate in an exchange, I consider it a victory to find a minute to post that I received the piece in question, with or without a picture! And if I say that I will update with a picture "later," I don't appreciate having that post disappear from public view less than 12 hours later. I was doing my best to let my partner know that I DID receive my piece, and I was at work until 11 pm with no access to my pictures. (And honestly, I probably shouldn't be posting to blogs from work, either, but I work in front of a computer, so no one begrudges me a few minutes of "off" time.) Then I slept. Then I got up, showered, dressed myself, dressed my child, packed my lunch, got her out the door and to daycare, drove to work, taught 2 classes, and finally had a minute to update these Very Important Blogs.
Anyway. Enough of my Drama Llama moment. I think I may need to retire from the exchange scene for a while, though.....

Yikes! You have a beyond full schedule. Love your little owl sampler...I've stitched it too.
COMPLETELY sympathise. I work full time too and actually don't get much stitching done during the week. The only time I can stitch, and take decent photos, is during the weekends. Sometimes I feel bad because I just can't keep up with the constant stream of work some stitchers I follow are able to do. But then I remind myself that my circumstances are different, and there are pros and cons to every situation :)
Stitching is for pleasure, no one should feel PRESSURED.
It sounds like you are plenty busy enough, so give yourself a break and don't worry too much about bloggy pressures. Your owl sampler from Amy is so cute! Love it!!
You have a very hectic schedule. I barely have time to stitch let alone do exchanges so kudos to you. The owl sampler from Amy is cute! I don't think you were the only person targeted. In general, most people are not posting photos of their received exchange but they shouldn't have deleted your post. You could have just updated it later.
Don't worry so much, we all have our own life with its little up & down!!! I fully understand your situation & like you do most of stitching, blogging at the weekend :) Your blog is yours & you shouldn't be feeling under any pressure, just take your time & do it your way... I love that little ornament you've received, it was a lovely gift from Amy x
I know the feeling well! I sometimes draft emails and posts in my mind then realise two days later they never actually got into real life, they exist only in my mind!
I admin a blog and only delete draft posts at the end of each month when it's obvious the writer isn't going to update and publish it.
It is frustrating to find the time some days or I'd rather be spending that blogging time stitching! I hate the pressure that some people put us under sometimes.
On the other hand it looks great!
Wow. That does seem extreme to delete a post like that. Geez.
The piece sent is lovely.
