Witchy

Look, another finish!

This is Lizzie*Kate's "Double Double" from the 2013 JCS Halloween edition.  I used a scrap of mushroom evenweave - it looks a bit greenish on my monitor, but I swear to you it isn't.  I also swapped out all the hand-dyed flosses, either for DMC (the black and the witch's skin) or other hand-dyeds from my stash.  The blue is WDW Father's Day, the orange is a DMC variegated I picked up on clearance at Hobby Lobby eons ago, and the broom is The Dye is Cast's Tobacco Leaf.

The finished design is about 3 1/4" square, and should make a nice addition to my Halloween tree!

Adorbs! Lucky that you had options to switch out with. I find it so frustrating when designers call for specialty threads on such TINY designs. No way am I going to spend a fortune for something that small, on threads I probably won't use again :(

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
