Small accomplishment

I finished this on Friday-
"Aventail" by Ink Circles
stitched with HDF silks on a mystery gray(?) evenweave
I really like how this little piece turned out.  Although thank goodness I had another skein of HDF silk that was close to the one I started stitching this with - I ran out with just a few patches left to stitch!  I had been worried about this from the beginning, so I'd jumped around enough that the places where I switched skeins shouldn't be too obvious.  One of the downsides of stitching with one-of-a-kind cast-off flosses.....  I think the finished size is about 4 inches square.  The bit of fabric peeking in at the upper right is a remnant I picked up at the fabric store on Friday - I thought it might come in handy when making cute things for Wee One.  :)

That's gorgeous! The colour reminds of licquorice and blackcurrant - one of my favourite sweets!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
