Feeling ranty (and not accomplishing much)

Having a toddler in the house is exhausting.  (Tonight we had a fit of hysterics over crackers.)  I AM stitching - some nights I have to just to hang on to a bit of sanity! - but too often I stitch until it is bedtime and neglect to take a picture/download said picture from camera/upload picture to this blog.  Sigh.  Rest assured that I HAVE been working on the Stoney Creek fox cubs, and also a few lengths of floss on the Stag Sampler.  I'll get a picture or 2 for the WIPocalypse check-in, I promise!

I'm also getting very annoyed with the folks over at Celebration of Neeedlework.  I've gone twice - 2009 and 2011 - and DH has told me to take a little time for myself and go again this year.  Well, I've requested some time off from work and am ready to go, but I refuse to make reservations until the class schedule is complete!  They haven't posted class times or prices yet.  And as the cost of gas keeps rising (almost $4.00/gallon here in western NYS), I have to plan carefully.  So if it takes too long for them to share this information....I may not be going at all.....  (I'll just pack my suitcase and my stitching and find a lovely bed-and-breakfast somewhere ALONE...!!!)

ETA: Woo-hoo, I think I managed to turn off the annoying Captcha code.

*hugs* Little ones are such hard work.

I think you got the captcha licked, Erin. Thank you!

Yup, captcha's off. :D

I hope things work out for your weekend away.

If it makes you feel better, petrol (as we call it) is now nearly £1.50 a litre. That is equal to £5.67 a gallon which is US$ 9.00 a gallon.
And DMC is 90p a skein in my LNS.
Feel better now? LOL

ps Toddlers, however, are the same the world over!

Hope you get your weekend sorted soon - though a B&B alone for a stitch in sounds pretty good to me!

I think I'll pop over the Atlantic from now on to fill up - even though it is getting dear for you it is over half the cost of ours in the UK - trips are now few and far between.

My children are all in their 20s, but I remember those toddler days all too well! Just remember that soon you will be on to a new stage, and I found three year olds to be MUCH more enjoyable than two year olds.

Hope it works out for you to go to Celebrations. That's on my list of things to do when I retire. I haven't been yet since it occurs too close to the end of the school year and I don't feel I can take time off then. If you don't get to Celebrations, by all means, try to get some time by yourself and let someone else take care of you for a weekend!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
