LOL!
Yep, the Incorrigible Procrastinator has managed to get an ornament ornamentified in time to hang it on THIS year's tree! (Now, we just need to buy a tree. We haven't bothered before, what with travel and pets and all, but the almost-2 year-old might be of an age now where she'd enjoy it! Hmmm, I saw a cute pre-lit "slim" tree at Sam's Club the other night.)That is the little "display tree" I bought on sale last year, specifically to model my ornament finishes. You can also see the beautiful Words of Christmas ornament I received from Carol last month - here is a link to her blog for an even better picture.
As for "Jingle Jingle," well, I think it is adorable. However, I stitched it on a remnant of some cheap linen that I picked up at my LNS, and it was miserable to sew together. (Also, it probably didn't help that I used some cheap fabric for the backing. I thought it would be fine - heck, it is just the back of a Christmas ornament, it needn't be top-quality quilting fabric or anything! - but it was so hard to keep square....which DOES matter when you're using a gingham check fabric. D'oh.) Anyway. I went simple, which I think suits this rustic design quite well. I added three red jingle bells to the top.

sweet tree and your ornament is looking so lovely.
Whenever I go to finish an ornament I hear my mother's voice in the back of my head, "allover pattern!" Mostly, no one is going to see the back. :) Looks great from this angle.
Congratulations on your finish - look forward to seeing your tree.
Well done on a lovely finish
