A pre-birth stitching accomplishment

Thank you all for the comments on my last post. I'm definitely feeling the "baby blues," plus I start thinking too far ahead ("ack, what will happen next month/when I go back to work/when she's 2-3-4-5-6/etc?!?!?!?") and I freak myself out. A bit of stitching WOULD help me to remember....one color at a time, one stitch at a time, enjoy the process and don't worry. So with that in mind, I will try to take a bit of time each day (more or less!) to stitch, if only a part of a length of floss.

And I also wanted to share the very last projects(s) I finished before Maura was born. This was a gift for my friend Rita. Her kitty Oliver passed unexpectedly, and I wanted to stitch her a little something. Also, while I was pregnant I got a little obsessed with making bead-things...hence, the bracelet.

freebie from Brittercup Designs
Stitched on PTP "Glory" linen with hand-dyed flosses
Finished as a small pocket/envelope

bracelet made with assorted seed beads and other findings
