Well, she turned me into a newt.

That's the excuse I'm hearing from the workers in Fairy Tale Towne...either that or they've caught the plague. LOL But there IS a bit of progress to show. House #1 is almost finished!
I also started something new. This is Lavender Wings' "Lilacs," the piece I did a floss toss for almost a year ago. I'm stitching it using the recommended DMC colors, on a piece of 28-ct Jazlyn "Kereru" from Kiwi Illusions. I'm loving it so far!The fabric is a lovely blend of dusty green and purple - exactly what I see in my mind's eye when I think of the lilac bushes behind my childhood home.

Well, that's it for now. Thank you all for the warm wishes after my last post....although perhaps I should clarify a bit and say now that the surgery I had was a D & C, for (another) miscarriage. DH and I are working through a lot of confusing emotions right now, but we are doing ok. My doctors will be doing some bloodwork, in hopes of figuring out what is going on and why this keeps happening. At least they are pretty confident in telling me that it is *not* related to my diabetes. While I'm frustrated, at least I don't feel the need to blame myself for not taking care of myself properly.

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
