After all, it is easy to do when you are married to Santa Claus! Yep, that's DH, all dressed up on Christmas Eve. He plays Santa every year at a few places, and my mom asked if he would be willing to surprise her friend's 2 boys. I didn't get to see the event (I'm not THAT sneaky an elf yet!), but he said it was great fun. Oh, and the beard isn't his.....32 is a bit young for a full snowy-white beard! But having spent a lot of time on stage with community theater and such, he knows where to find good costume accessories and how to apply them properly.
So, in honor of my Santa-husband....one last finish for the year.
"Santa" by Knotted Tree NeedleArt, 2007 JCS Ornament issue
-stitched on 32-ct. Bay Rum jobelan
-stitched as charted (mostly...one or 2 minor floss substitutions were necessary!)
Eventually I'd like to finish this as an ornament...I'm thinking of giving everyone a stitched ornament next year, and this one could be perfect for DH. I just have to put it away for a while, until he forgets about it. LOL

What a great photo of the two of you and the ornament couldn't be more appropriate. You look so happy together. It has been a pleasure getting to know you through your blog and stitching this past year. Wishing you a new year filled with love.
