Here is the little bear, now with arms instead of breasts!! LOL I stitched a bit of the flower stem, too....you can't see it very well, since I don't have the hat done yet and couldn't take the green floss all the way up to the (eventual) flower. But it was enough to convince DH that there IS a flower stem there!
There is SO much confetti stitching in this piece. The back is going be such a mess.....
My clicky finger got the best of me on eBay over the past few days -- I'm waiting for a couple packages now. *sigh* But I spent less than $20, and got TW's Celtic Inspiration patterns, a Sweetheart Tree Teenie Tweenie (Kaleidoscope Hearts) with charm, and a pattern from the DMC UK collection that I'd never seen before (Harvest Festival). All the more incentive to stay out of the LNS, right?? I'll post pics when the goodies arrive!!
Last night I started cataloging all the freebie patterns I have on my computer. I'm in the process of renaming all the files with the designer name first. Previously I had tried organizing all the files by subject, but that was getting rather unwieldy. I was having a hard time remembering/finding which freebies I already had! So I figure I'll do with the freebies what I did with my bigger patterns -- organize them alphabetically by designer, then create a database where I can assign subjects.
Gosh, I'm such a librarian.

It's looking great! Definately arms now. LOL And a little stash never hurts us. ;)
Your bear is looking great and I can see that stem!
I spent my holidays setting up an excel file of all my charts by designer, title and included what binder they were in.
Gosh I'm such a librarian ;-)
And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that their clikie finger got the best of them!
I'm not a librarian, but I do similar things myself - always used to catalogue my charts etc ... haven't done it since I moved to Aussie - but then most of my stash is still in NZ. Your little bear is looking cute!
