Giving Goals a Try

I've never set stitching goals before, but I'm thinking that maybe it is time to start. I have soooo many projects that are WIPs or that I'd like to start working on...maybe this will help me stay focused and FINISH a few things.

So, without further ado, my September goals:
1) finish "Stitching the Standard"
2) do one square on my long-neglected Dragon Virtues afghan
3) start the little teacup design that I want to make into a coaster/trivet as a gift for my mom
4) pick out a teddy bear design for my friend's new baby
5) maybe do an ornie or 2

Simple enough, right? We'll see what happens. I can't stitch much this weekend, since my father-in-law and his wife are visiting from Iowa (and yes, I think they are INSANE to make that kind of road trip with the problems in the gasoline supply right now, but that's another rant). They say they "don't want to do anything", but I don't feel right just plopping in my chair and stitching while they are here..... *sigh*

Good luck with your goals Erin. I'm actually contemplating setting some this month too. I'm hoping it will keep me on track - as you say, we shall see!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
