Drat.

Yesterday morning I broke my camera. I tripped while crossing the study, and dropped my dear camera....on the hardwood floor. *sigh* It still WORKS, but the body panels no longer line up correctly. DH said he would look at it -- I just hope he doesn't try to force anything back together and thereby ruin it completely. I feel awful....DH bought me that camera for Christmas 2005, and he paid a pretty penny for it. So cross your fingers that he will take it to Best Buy (or better yet, the local camera shop!) and they can make it as good as new.....

So I WOULD have pictures for you, but alas, it is not to be.
Last night I started the itty-bitty second wedding sampler, for my brother-in-law and his sweet fiancee. It will look like this: 1) a row of backstitched vines and teeny blue flowers, from a Sweetheart Needle Roll pattern, 2) the verse "two spirits approached, and at their touching, Behold! An everlasting star!" broken into 4 lines (I might put a line of rice stitch or long-arm crosses between "Behold" and the last line, not sure yet), 3) Sweetheart Tree's "Enchantment" Teenie Tweenie, 4) the bride's name (short-ish), the groom's name (longer), and the date (short-ish again), and 5) another row of the vines and flowers. It is all in blues, with a bit of green for the vines, and I'm using a piece of Barely Blue lugana (that's how it was labelled in my LNS's remnant bin...). If I've done the math correctly, it will be about 8 inches long by 4 inches wide. Oh, and I think I'll be substituting for all the beads - it calls for Magnificas, which I don't have, and they are awfully expensive! I DO have lots of assorted Mill Hills and others, though, so hopefully I can find some that are appropriate. I'm also thinking of finding a replacement for the WDW "Dove" that the pattern calls for...I don't want to drive all the way to my LNS for just that, especially when I'll have to go out there to drop it off for framing anyway. I'm all about saving gas...and protecting my credit card from more stash enhancement.... LOL

I hope it can be repaired without too many problems, and there is some great progress on the wedding gift.

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
