Olde Time Santa - Grandfather Frost
kit from The Yarn Tree
I was also a little bit naughty the other day...I bought a few things on eBay. You see, a couple months ago I was looking for some Grace Kelly Green hand-dyed floss from The Dye is Cast, but couldn't find it anywhere. I contacted an eBay seller who had a lot of TDIC flosses, and they said they'd let me know if they came across any....well, guess what? Even though I don't need it for the original project, I absolutely love the color, so I bought 2 skeins. And since they had so many yummy colors.....ummm.......well.....I added 2 skeins of TDIC Bluebells, along with Tie Dye, Ultraviolet, and Polar Bear by Carrie's Creations. Oh, and a piece of Enchanting Lair's hand-painted fabric called Purple Horizon. I'll be sure to share a picture when all the goodies arrive!

I need to make DH a stocking, but I haven't found one I like yet (ok, he likes TW's, but I'm not sure I want to go there).
I like watching spanish (subtitled) films and (go figure) watch a lot of Mexican produced movies. I figure my spanish is getting better because I'll stitch a little and hear something and my head will snap up with a "WHAT did he say??" And DH will laugh because it means I totally misheard/translated something.
I can't wait to see Pan's Labyrinth - it's in my queue
I just want to say that I love the name you have given you blog! I am new to blogging and am finding myself becoming slightly (?) addicted.
The goodies sound very nice!
Great start on your santa. I worked with perforated plastic once and wasn't very fond of it. Your goodies sound great. :)
I loved loved loved that movie. It was such a wonderful Fairy Tale for adults... Much too creepy and dark for kids to watch... especially the monster with the eyes on his hands... I dreamt about him for a few days afterwards, lemmie tell you!
It was hard to stitch while watching that movie, but I too managed to get a little bit done. I might have to watch it again soon without the stitching to catch all the subtleties in the imagery that I probably missed, but I was almost done a large project and couldn't put it down. I'm sure you know what that's like. lol
