...if you are the Traveling Pattern, that is! "Count Your Blessings" will be traveling to the UK, where Jo is the next stitcher! I had a terrible time choosing who would be next. But for those who want a chance in the next round, be sure to follow along on Jo's blog.
Since finishing "Count Your Blessings," I've been keeping my stitchy fingers busy with my piece for Anna's challenge (can't share that yet!), and Just Nan's "Mermaid Heart."I am absolutely loving this piece - despite that fact that Nan's constant color changes drive me a little crazy. After all the subtle color changes are part of what I love! Anyway...this is a conversion to Vikki Clayton's hand-dyed silks instead of the AVS the pattern calls for, and I'm using a piece of Sugar Maple Fabric that I've been hoarding for years called "Dolphin Dance." In fact, I think I bought the pattern because I had the fabric, and it has all been sitting in my stash pile for several years!

I'm so pleased, this was my first try at this pattern!
Looking forward to receiving and stitching. Of course if the Just Nan pattern happened to fall in the envelope too I wouldn't complain! It's on my wishlist and it's great to see it progressing on your blog.
Your Mermaid Heart is coming along nicely. The fabric is a perfect complement to the silk colors.
Congratulations to Jo.
The JN piece is very pretty
I agree that all those color changes in a Just Nan piece are a pain. That's why I have at least one of her larger designs in my UFO pile. But they are pretty when finished, aren't they?
