Assembled

Daddy and Wee One are napping right now, so I thought I'd take a minute to share a finished finish. This in Wee One's first Christmas ornament - I hope to make this an annual tradition (although hopefully in the future I won't be 2 months behind with the finishing...).(Don't mind my crazy "photo stitching"!! The front and back ARE the same size.) I wish I'd gotten the front and back to line up just a little bit better, though...the perfectionist in me doesn't like the way Santa looks like he might just tip out of his seat there. Hmmm. Also, I don't think I'll do one quite this big again -- I used a CD as a template to cut my matboard forms, and that just feels a little too large to me. Ah well. It still makes me smile, as I'm sure it will when I see it on our tree every December.... (I think my favorite part is my "signature" on the back. I did a teeny heart and "MOM" in caps. Sure, centuries from now no one will have a clue who stitched that, but for once I don't care.)

Cute finish! That's a pretty massive ornie if it's the size of a CD!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
