In the bottom letters, the top colour is v.dk.brown gray, then terracotta then dk. cocoa then desert sand. You can easily see that cocoa is going to be darker than terracotta even without the thread numbers or skeins in front of you. So my guess is that they transposed the symbols on the chart or key.
I'd email them and let them know. At least you haven't stitched too much!Jo who can't think of a clever nicknamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02663450738390351663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691534.post-69123120136096555342015-07-15T07:48:19.720-04:002015-07-15T07:48:19.720-04:00Yes, I can see what you mean. On my monitor, it looks like the middle color (brown) should be on top, the bottom color (orange-brown) should be in the middle, and the top color (orange) should be on the bottom. Good luck! The design is cool.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691534.post-32049035065676199032015-07-14T15:35:51.393-04:002015-07-14T15:35:51.393-04:00What Danielle said. I think that model stitchers sometimes make changes (or find errors in charts) that don't get translated into the final pattern.
Suzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17137247054609834103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8691534.post-32780111594688426642015-07-14T15:23:58.949-04:002015-07-14T15:23:58.949-04:00I don't see it. If you are unhappy with it and want yours to look like the pic, then rip it out and restitch. Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10264011735420763054noreply@blogger.com
