I was good....kind of....

Over the weekend I *almost* finished "EduCATed." Just a bit if backstitching and one book to finish. It is really cute -- although the book opened "spine up" is killing me. I'm such a librarian (and I wonder how many times I've typed THAT in my blog?!?!). I stitched a bit on the Bonding Spiral, too, but I definitely still have a ways to go with that one. You'd think it would be a quick stitch, being only 7 colors and on aida....but no (not for me, anyway).

I also started the Classic Woman design. I didn't get the cheap floss at A.C. Moore, either -- we were out grocery shopping, and Jo-Ann's is in the same plaza as the grocery store, so I paid *gasp* a whole .28/each for my 3 skeins. Eh. That doesn't bother me so much....now if I were kitting up a TW or a Mira, I might have held out/gone out of my way for a big sale!

So hopefully tonight I'll finish up the kitty, and have pic for you tomorrow......

My dh isn't a librarian, but he get quite incensed at the sight of books left on a table opened with spine up! He's usually very easy-going, but not when it comes to his books, lol!

28c is a very reasonable. Over here in the UK one skein is $1.12 :(

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
