Muriel's Cape Cod friend

Muriel has asked me to remind everyone that although both she and I were moderately underwhelmed by the JCS ornament issue, we DID buy it, after all...so it isn't as if we're not supporting the industry.  We're simply choosing which designs we like and will stitch, which is what everyone does in the end.  If you disagree with our choices, by all means, stitch away (and who knows, maybe my tastes will change down the road....it has happened before).

On another note, Muriel wanted me to share this pic of what I started while we were in Cape Cod.  I didn't buy the kit there, but I thought it was a nice reminder of a long weekend by the sea.  The ornament hanging on my scroll frame I DID buy in a gift shop there - I thought it might find a home some day in my  plans for a mermaid-themed half-bath.

Erin, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who wasn't too thrilled by this year's issue. I've gotten one too, sometimes tastes change a littlie or there may be something in there perfect for someone else. Also.... its a collection, LOL.

I got my JCS yesterday and I have to say I more or less agree with you

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
