Little Indulgences

On Friday I stopped into Barnes & Noble, and picked up the JCS ornament issue.  After looking through it, I think there are a few I might stitch...but at the same time, it seems that there really isn't much "new" out there.  Of course, I've got every ornament issue, plus a pile of freebies and other holiday patterns I've purchased over the years.
I also impulsively grabbed an issue of the British "World of Cross Stitching" magazine, partly because I was smitten by the little Fizzy Moon stocking bear freebie kit that was included.
So we'll see if I have any kind of follow-through on my holiday stitching plans...

Hey Erin.
I always add the issue to my library and I find that if I pick up the issue at another time I find diferrent ornaments that I like to stitch that I may not have liked when I first looked through it.
Happy Sunday!

I hope you enjoy your two mags :D and that you can find some more ornies on the JCS that you wish to stitch... or maybe it's just time to change to another mag for some variety ;)

I was excited to hear the new issue was out. Went on the hunt for it yesterday. No big surprise - it's not available here yet.
I always keep them around and ornaments I didn't find so interesting the year before somehow appeal this year. I am stitching an ornament from 1998 at the moment.

I have all of them up through when DS was born. I think I only have 1 or 2 since! ::sigh:: I know what you mean about feeling like there's not much new out there. (Guess it doesn't matter much, though, when you're not stitching (like me!).)

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
