I'm weak.

I joined Measi's WIPocalypse in an attempt to finish a few things....so why did I start this last night??
This is the 17th Century Stag Sampler, by Charland Designs.  All of the specialty threads were included (along with the little stag charm), so I all needed to find was a piece of fabric and a few DMC threads.  And the colors are even prettier in real life than they are in the model picture!

In addition to my new start, my stash has also grown a bit.  I spent the last of my Christmas money on some charts....
I picked up Blackbird Designs' "Winter" Loose Feathers pattern and Nora Corbett's "J" fairy at my LNS yesterday, along with some of the beads for the fairy.  This will be for my new niece, Jane, and there is no rush since she is still tiny and her parents will be moving in the near future - no point in giving them something to get lost or broken in the move!  (They DID like the Kringle ornament, though.)  And from Thyra over on the HDF board, I've acquired "Lamb's Christmas" by Earth Threads, "The Needleworker" by Charland Designs (I've been looking for this for a long time, and finally getting might have had something to do with why I started the Stag Sampler!), and Waxing Moon's "Hitching a Ride."

Ah well.  We only live once, right?  So I might as well enjoy my stash....both stitching things from it and adding to it!!  And for today, I'm working a 9-hour shift at the college library to pad the bank account for future stash acquisitions....  LOL

GOrgeous stitching... At least was the new start from your stash? Then it is fine.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
